Anyone know what made this print ???

Post by Die Judicii » 16 May 2020, 8:31 pm

Apart from the little pig prints,,, can someone identify the larger print that looks a bit like three knuckles and three stubby fingers with a small
pad print behind ???

I found half a dozen or so of these today in the soft soil around the edge of the water.
I could not see any indication of claws at all.
If they are three toe marks whatever it is must have a square ended foot.

I think the triple is two separate hits to the soil ie foot side by side and the centre mark is shared and common to the separate prints ....maybe deer

I'm watching Jurassic park on foxtel right now so I'm afraid I might be a little biased!

So your saying that whatever had one foot on top of the other ?
Definitely NO deer in this vicinity anyway.

My guess is print on a print. Some animals do this.

A print on top of a print but not placed perfectly to end up with three toes in the soil instead of two and not necesssarily in the one pass thru the area

Dj made it himself with a stack in his back yard and is amused by our attempts to identify this strange new creature

Do not go out unarmed in this paddock ! This print resembles the same thing that was found in China near the border of North Korea.
Some say, it’s the reason cov19 escaped, whilst others say it’s a creature that has over taken Kim king’s body - all we know it’s, a stick.

Good luck. Make us jealous , don’t worry about the cold , it’s just your imagination. I remember once I was at the end of my tether on a waterhole one night I was sick of waiting and I just kept saying ten more minutes and I’m out of here. I kept that up for a bit and I decided to have one more scan just before I up and left. That’s when I spied a nice size boar wandering in from the north. You never ever know if you never ever go ........a fruitless night scanning a waterhole is still a heap better to look at than a keyboard
