This young sow made the mistake of running across the track tonite in my headlights.
The Sako .308 came into play and enabled these pics.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.

U doin better than me tonight. I did some miles on my quad early in the night. I’m glad I have gloves. I’m glad I have spare gloves in case I lose a set. I’m glad I bought a new jacket esp for this winter hunting season hunting in Vic and Tass must be brutally cold atm and prob worse next month .... then I came back to hut for snooze and food. Then I did a 2 hour quad session at midnight. So far only seen one fox two mice and maybe 1/2 doz Roos .... I’ll do some daytime scouting/ hunting tomorrow in the thick scrub to see if I can work these pigs out. It’s unusual for them to not be in the open cultivation after sunset
