It has now been proven beyond doubt that (dingo's "proper") do promote the survival and continuation of Australian native marsupials such as the
Bilby, Native hopping mice, etc in extensive programs that are still currently being examined in northern Sth Aust. (easily found with google)
Fairly large tracts of land have been sectioned off with exclusion fences,,,, and foxes, feral cats and the like have been systematically exterminated
from within.
Then the native marsupials were re introduced,,,,,, and once established and breeding successfully,, Dingos were then added.
After quite some years the results have proven that all are persisting in a harmonious and successful manner.
Even the necessary plant life is again flourishing.
Note however,,,,,,,,, that sheep & cattle were never part of the program.
It is therefore fairly obvious that with present day practices and technology that the only successful way of allowing both sides to co exist is with the use
of properly constructed and maintained "Exclusion Fences"
Exclusion Fences are fast becoming the norm in the area of Qld where I live.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.
