I feel for people who cannot get ammo or components.
And even if you do, its often not what you want. Having to change bullets, or brass to different makes is a real pain.

The issue of simply being able to supply ammo, to the roo shooters and or country firearms dealers could and should be taken up by the MPs in those affected areas at the very least.
And, in turn dealt with in parliament so as to enable road and air transport (maybe even Postal) transport/delivery of ammo.
The usual and big problem in Australia is the slow and quite often absent action by government,,, to avert the issues that these land owners are currently facing.

It's been a well known fact ever since the drought broke and the cycle reversed that the ferals as well as the roos were going to explode in numbers,,,,,
So,,,,,, where are these MPs and what are they doing ??????

SFA,,,,,, apart from scratching their R'se with their Gold Pass, card. :problem:
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.

Looks like La Nina is going to continue for the foreseeable future so that means wet weather for a long time to come.

Sounds like you all need to work with your state and federal representatives to better improve transport and supply of ammo to rural areas.

Trouble with governments at all levels DJ, is Straya's demographics.

Our urban population in 2021 was 22.3 million.

That's also, imo, why we have such restrictive firearms laws, they're too busy pandering to the cafe-latte inner city types who think their food grows in a back room at the supermarket.

But you're right about transport etc, the gun shop in the town nearest me has a minimum limit of 1000 rounds if you want to order something they don't stock, just based on transport costs.

That was before availability became the elephant in the room.

There's a massive opportunity waiting for someone willing to specialise in transporting ammo.
