At long last the grass has been chewed up and flattened enabling me to see the warrens and yes a few Bunnies.
The first pest was taken with the .223 when the pastures were thick but he was still stupid enough to think he was safe...Bang pop lol.
The next three pests were taken with the .260rem in 22 to 28kph winds coming from a 2 o clock position, in strong wind the .260 shine, even though I was only using 100gn nos ballistic tips, the Bunnies are in trouble out to 600.
Past that is where the heavier 143gn Hornady eld-x will take over....if I can only stop pest popping and do some serious load development one day
Its a pity how the .260 has taken a major back seat to the 6.5 Creedless, people who actually own a .260 all say what a great little cal it is the only flak is from the Creedless owners
