The latest in anti-hunting ignorance

Post by Lorgar » 24 Oct 2014, 8:58 am

Short version of back story...

  1. Took friend hunting
  2. Friend shot first rabbit with 8mm Mauser
  3. Rabbit went kaboom
  4. Photo of remaining rabbit foot taken
And so... After his first successful hunt my friend was pretty chuffed and we were sitting around with a group of friends that night and it came up. Some new associates there and someone who knows nothing about shooting reasonably asked about any suffering on the rabbits part.

We assured her there was none, a response she wouldn't accept.

We explained there was quite literally almost nothing of the rabbit left. Still not accepted.

We showed her the photo of what was a foot and half a head connected by a foot of stringy mush. She still "suspected" the rabbit was feeling something.

I thought germs were supposed to be the invincible ones. If a rabbit's living through that we need to be studying them because they obviously hold the key to immortality standing up to that

Obviously you're supposed to sneak up behind the rabbit with rag of chloroform and knock it out before blowing it apart

You should have asked her if she reckoned the lettuce leaves she eats ever suffered! cos one minute they were happlily basking in the sun enjoying the fickle breeze rolling over their leaves, NEK MINUTE pulled out of the ground roots and all, then tossed around on the back of a tractor then drowned in a bath of water, then stuffed in a box and chilled before spending god only knows how long in the back of a truck, then dumped on a Dock somewhere where they will eventually be displayed for purchase! :D

Poor little lettuce - will someone please think of the the young lettuce!

i hope she buys her meat from the supermarket where no animals are harmed

you can't help some people, tell you what, i reckon that would be the way to go, happily hopping around a grassy paddock oblivious then BOOM! nothing, just the black silence of being spread over 3 square meters of hillside, if i was a rabbit that is

I hope not, in the post from months ago it promised they do not breed. Are you saying there are more to come?? Get more ammunition, am I allowed to say that?
