Kits on the prowl

Post by AusC » 12 Nov 2014, 10:40 am

Been out the last few days and fox kits are officially out and about.

Seeing them everywhere along with their mums, looking like it'll be a big fox this year?

Get those rimfire's ready.

A lot of fox dens along one of the highways I frequent.

It's about that time of season I think... Expecting heads to be bobbing around soon.

Breeding seasons from July on I think so sounds about right.

Time for some target practice.

Haven't seen the foxes.

Found a few torn up rabbits which is as good as the same thing though.

Happy days! Last Friday night I had five of the little buggers wander into the beam of the spottie. Needless to say, a 40gr V-Max promptly wandered into them
.22LR, .222 Remington, .12g. But it's not the same when they don't live in your safe :P
