One of those days.

Varminting and vertebrate pest control. Small game, hunting feral goats, foxes, dogs, cats, rabbits etc.

One of those days.

Dragged the .223 out today and went to a spot that I hadn't been to for 5 months, well I wasn't disappointed as there were enough victims to keep me occupied.
The first was at 270mts (296yds) I dialled 2.1MOA elevation 1MOA for a 2.5mph crosswind , got the cam rolling and fired. The bullet caught him in the chest killing him instantly.
The second was at 140mts (154yds) , I dialed -0.3 and did not bother for wind adjustment...got the cam rolling and fired. The bullet smacked this one through the chest also and scored another instant kill.
There were plenty of victims hopping around but for some reason I only got two... just one of those days I guess, :)
cheers,
Sean.

As we know Sean we can't get em all, I guess that's part of what makes it fun (would be a bit boring after a while if you knew everything you were going to shoot at was a g'teed result. So long as we get around 90% success rate I reckon we are doing alright. :D

Yes mate, reliable, will go just about anywhere, does not rip up the enviroment like the 4x4s and provides a steady shooting platform...oh did I mention chic magnet?

Impressive shooting and a choice of a hunting vehicle.
