Bunnies galore

Post by chookah » 11 Nov 2013, 9:48 am

Hope everyone had as good a hunting weekend as I did :D

Got out camping for a day this weekend and found a huge rabbit warren with some good camping grounds nearby.

And where there're bunnies there are foxes.

Set up shop their for half the day waiting for critter to top up. Got 16 bunnies and and 3 foxes, all while sitting round having lunch and a chat :D

Ripper weekend.

Good tally for a lazy days shooting.

It does baffle me how rabbits continually stick there heads out of their warrens over and over again after one of they kin gets turned into mist each time.

Can't complain about plentiful shooting though.

Nice one.

That's 2-3 trips at least normally for me.

This isn't the norm for me I've got to admit.

We were camping on a private property for the first time which the owner never really shoots on, so there was plenty of space for the bunnies to build up :D

Better than a free weekend in Amsterdam!
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.
