Anyone selling rabbit skins? I'm curious how much are they worth and where do you sell them?

I've always discarded them....theyre nice pelts but if theres no market - theres no value.

i think the hat makers get their fur from Russia now so no market here :thumbsdown: but you could try some of the leather shops ? they may be able to put you onto someone :unknown: let us know how you get on :thumbsup:

Akubra source the skins from many countries according to their website. When I was a teenager my uncle took me to a rabbit farm near Narrabri that was breeding giant bunnies for sale to Akubra. They were not ordinary rabbits but a specific breed that grew fast and had the right fur for producing felt. The meat went to a pet food maker, the guts was used for something else, pies I think :D
