No mate, a different one, he has several crops in this year with pretty much the same scenario.

yes I have seen flinching first hand with another bloke I took out.Had the safety on and there was a clear grunt and flinch.Why do they all want a .243 with 100gr pills as a first rifle

Beats me, they should start of with a small cf like the .223 to get used to muzzle blast and recoil (which aint much).
