Don't feral cats have cutsie teenie weeny cuddly loveable kittens just like the endangered "native" fox cubs ?

This one definitely won't be, off to the Council pound for this pussy. It took me ages to get it to go inside the trap, even with baiting the trap - not armed.

Tried fish - sardines and pilchards, chicken, tinned wet cat food, none seemed to entice the cat into the trap...... :?

That cat's been schooled. Pilchards are usually very effective.

yes, Bent Arrow, I think that is was a very educated cat re traps go but perseverance does pay off. I've now moved onto its mate.

PS. just checked the Wildgame camera and not only has big red turned up at 8.26pm but also have another cat putting in a 2am appearance. Both sniffed around the cage traps, entered but not all the way. Tonight is another chapter.

TITLE_II, Could be and I can't stand the ferals, pea and s**t everywhere. We used to have a lot of ground birds around, like wrens - Jenny female and blue, the male and swamp pheasants and quail but don't see any of them now. The bush turkeys are slowly making a come back.

seeing the weather has cleared up a bit up this way, I'm back trapping the ferals. Set 2 cage traps last night and after about a hour the little trap went off, usual growling and roaring and all quite. Got to the trap with a towel and no pussey! How does a cat get out of this?
Think I trapped Houdini, nothing on the game camera either! :?

Back to the drawing board.
