Just wow. It never ceases to amaze me. These kind of dopey nerds preach peace ,love and kindness. But if you don't agree with their position you "should have been aborted" etc. etc.

All these cry baby cutesy photos of young foxes. Perhaps we should post some photos of killed native wildlife or mutilated lambs or chickens. Insular inner urban flogs with NFI what's actually going on out in the world.

Ah well, at least they can feel special and superior in the misguided madness.

Same type of people that will smash a Big Mac but call slaughter houses cruel and barbaric.

Sigh

It's comedy gold really. Loving the shtstirrers posting photos of slain foxes

Best laugh I've had in a while......some of the comments on there are hilarious.....

If the person/s running the site are serious though it's a little disturbing, they seem to think the fox is native???

It's so sad to see these partially illiterate ?women that unfortunately believe what they are saying.
I doubt any one of them could lay claim to living on a farm and or witness the destruction of "true" native wildlife by foxes.

As a teenager I got one aged approx 8 weeks old, and reared it as a pet.
I had it desexed, and it lived to the ripe old age of 14 years.
It was very friendly, loved petting, and loved children,,,,, and NEVER ever bit anyone.

BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It spent its entire life in a large enclosure with concrete floor specially built for it,
Or, was outside on a leash.
As loving as it was, if I let it go loose there was no guarantee that it would come back when called,
If it got loose and didn't come back, it would have killed native wildlife just like its wild cousins.

I managed to train it to do quite a few things, but it certainly was nothing like a domestic dog.

And yes,,,,, I shoot foxes because I know the damage they do.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.

No they won't.
Foxes are now, I believe, listed vermin and measure must be taken by landholders to control them. From what I understand, NSW moved the fox to vermin even while the 'save the fox' movement was active and raising funds a couple of years ago or maybe a little less.

Our governments may do some stupid things but moving a destructive invasive species to the protected list is not going to be one of them.

About 40 years ago I was working on a property in NSW. We shore a mob of ewes that were in lamb, the boss mistimed it and they started lambing in the shed as they were being shorn.
As I remember it, at the end of the first day, there were about 30 lambs that had not mothered up, so we put them outside the shed in the same paddock as the ewes hoping that the mothers would claim them through the night. The next morning, about half of them were dead. Through the night, a fox or foxes had eaten their tongues and left them to bleed to death.
Foxes are very beautiful animals, especially the young ones, but they are at the same time, incredibly cruel. I can understand why some people get emotional about foxes, but if they could have seen those lambs, maybe it would he given them something to think about.

Apparently we have hunted wedge tail eagles to near extinction, too, and then we blamed it on foxes.

I just remembered my previous post in this thread in relation to the pet fox that I had for 14 years when I was a teenager.
(more info in that post above)

Here is a pic of him. It's not really good because it is only a photo of the photo,,, and the original is a bit faded.

This is the extreme opposite of finding the middle ground on Issues. There was a post somewhere the other day off an old mulloway washed up on the bank in the swan river. Some of the theories were amazing.A boat hit it kids killed it with a star picket an angler caught it and left it there.global warming the cold war cats and dogs catholics?????,It died of old age and a bull shark didnt clean it up and it washed up on the tide, not one post thought of that

I've seen the same thing many times - as well as calves with their lips and ears eaten off (while they're being born), cows vulvas eaten off and all while they're still alive. Point this out to the "rescuers" and see what their response is.
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.
