What age did you introduce your child to hunting

Hi All

I have an 8 month old and the wife and I have been talking about the future and when to introduce her to things in the future.

This will probably just happen naturally but at what age did you introduce your young one to hunting?

I am guessing when she is old she will probably naturally become curious as to why daddy disappeares and her friends don't eat wild game.

Gday straight silver
I've got a almost three year old girl and she started coming out with us at six months. Not on big trips at first but little day walks. We have one of those back carriers and her own little muffs.now we take her with us almost every time we take the rifle out either hunting or target practice.

My girls started coming out with me when they were about 9 or 10.

Both joined the cadets and we're shooting about two or three years later.

My youngest lad shot a white shoulder rabbit when he was 4. His older brother wasn't as keen early on but now they both (7 & 12) love hunting.
