What do you guys think of the remote electronic fox callers? Do you just stick to the old fashioned whistles?

Never used one. At the moment I have the best success lip squeaking out of anything, although this week they've not been interested in ANYTHING other than the carcasses laying around the paddocks....

I like the 17hmr for pelt damage control, and because it's relatively safe to shoot around the vineyards I work at.

I've got a fox Pro - does a great job, also have scotch predator caller, all manner of whistles, they all have their uses as far as I'm concerned. :drinks:

Got 3 foxes last night out spotlighting. Took a fox at 185m with the .243, my longest kill to date.
It'll shoot the fleas off a dog's back at five hundred yards, Tannen, and it's pointed straight at your head!

Couple of red dogs taken near Neering. One tried to swim for it before being dispatched . Can’t wait for the drives to start up again.

Thanks gents, I was calling him for about 15 mins trying to get him a bit closer but he would not budge. As he wasn't moving I figured I'd have a crack and the 87gr v-max went straight through the boiler room. He was an old male that had seen a few winters I reckon, worn down yellowed teeth and some very tough skin compared to the other 2 I had scalped earlier.
