Sure do stixs that fox was number 96 for this year 4 to go for 100 not a bad year chasing foxes for some reason I can't get enough fox shooting there are a lot of silly pups about at the moment plus I have a lot of land to hunt on I've got a good collection of skins plus a few cats there are foxes everywhere ya just have to look for good spots and be good at calling them

AJB What whistles are u using? Spotlighting?

I mainly call them by hand squeaking and I've used all types of whistles but the silva fox and apex work at times by hand squeaking I mean sucking in air kissing the top of your hand with a closed fist you will b surprised how many will come for a look you can get the noise quite loud foxes have top hearing but the key is don't go to loud there used to softer noises in the Bush I've seen them run away even blowing the whistle to loud

I think i need to try this"hand squeaking". Been slow for me lately.

No whistle Squeaky kiss sounds to bring him in

Last time at the yards I shot a cracker of a boar so while still seeking a boar tonight amongst the cows I took some time out to bring this fox in. My best effort so far. This is a still from the vid. I was filming with my thermal binos. Had I been filming with my scope I may have been tempted to flick the safety of the 243 but not this time. Very lucky fox.
