Using a VIC property on NSW genuine reason

Post by Wrigc » 13 Aug 2024, 6:51 pm

In the process of moving north into NSW . My reason in VIC was under our family property (in victoria) for hunting, question is am I able to use that property as my genuine reason on a NSW license app?

Id obviously like to avoid doing the range shoots for no reason. Ive got R license sorted regardless

Nothing I can find explicitly says NSW property's

Cheers

I don't know for sure, only Police can tell you that, but you could make the application and see if it goes through.
When my brother was in Canberra he used my property in Vic and he never had to do attendances or hold an R Licence.

Well there is no law to say you can't. So just apply and see what happens,

I know this is going back the other way, but I have given letters of permission for hunters from Vic to use for the recreational hunting reason. I am firmly in NSW, so it may work the other way.
