NSW new licence application how long?

So kind of good news. No change on the website. However I got a reply from the Firearms Registry:

Good afternoon

I can confirm your licence has been recommended to issue and you should be receiving a photographic advice within 14 days

I will update once the website changes. Hopefully this weekend.

Looks like they are in the middle of December.

So I called the FAR yesterday to ask where they’re up to and they told me that they don’t give that information and to keep checking the website. I then emailed them asking when and how long until they start January and they said to keep checking the website. I don’t even know what to think anymore.

Argh how frustrating. I know how you feel. I don’t even trust them to say it has been referred to Services NSW. Still no change on the website. Maybe Saturday.

Reading this thread with all the long wait times you lads should consider a move up north. Mine was approved in 56 days and another 7 for the card to arrive in the mail. Plus ours last for 10 years.
