Permit to aquire question

Post by Sk1ds » 23 Oct 2020, 11:04 am

Hey all

Probably a stupid question but saying I had a permit for B5 Lever Action Shotgun 5 Rounds

Could I buy a lesser category A shotgun or is it only for exactly the permit type issued?

Thanks

PTA will only cover what it is issued for in my experience. You could contact NSW FAR to confirm but ring them as their response times to email enquiries is terrible.

I wonder if this would be applicable going from B5 to B2... I have a shotty on order that is due before Xmas, but I also need a new 223 - might be less of a gamble to get the B5 PTA early knowing if the shotty doesn't arrive I can pick up the 223 with it!
