Just dropping in to ask a question or two since the answers seem to be left really vague by both the registry PDFs and legislation.
Heres the PDF in question: https://www.police.nsw.gov.au/__data/as ... _Sheet.pdf
Inside that PDF it states that
The area or room where the firearms are stored must be part of a permanent building with secure locks on all
entrances.
So the firearms must be stored in safes, within a safe room. That makes sense.
One of the requirements of the room is that:
The area or room must have solid walls that provide a substantial barrier to forced entry.
Does anyone know what would be defined as a solid wall? I am going to assume gyprock/drywall probably isnt sufficient, but what about ply etc?
