NSW vs QLD laws

Being in NSW I was browsing thru Cleaver’s online and it really annoys me that every second item is “ prohibited In NSW “ !
What a bloody joke that we cannot buy items freely available in QLD yet possession in NSW makes you a CRIMINAL ! It’s insane .

Firearms fall under state law and always has, nothing we can do about that other than change the constitution. And if firearms were federally registered it would probably be a lot worse!.

Back in 1989 I moved from Vic to QLD.
In VIC at the time I had an A/B/C firearms' license and all firearms were required to be registered.
In QLD at that time if you were over 18 you could walk into a gun shop and buy pretty much any long arm you like - no license and no registration.
