Remember when the Ammo Bill was being Debated in NSW prior to being enacted, a big number of thinking Politicians from all Parties expressed strong doubts as to whether it would be effective in Stopping Gun Crime! Well After a Number of Years it is self evident that it has Not, if anything the reverse is true, the incidence of Criminal Shootings is now at a record level! This Bill has just caused more Red tape, and only affects LAFO's and the Firearms Ind. and has done ZIP to achieve what they said it would do! This should be reviewed!
Even some of The Shooting Sports strongest critics said at the Time "This Bill will do not a thing to Stop Gun Crime, But I will Vote for it Anyway!

the fact remains the sffp are to busy worrying about greyhounds, council mergers and the head quarters of the RFS.

Read the boiler plate statement for the sffp and you tell me where shooters come into it.. last that's right dead last.

Back to Phil donate, has anyone heard him speak in parliament about legal gun ownership? Nope he hasn't, one mention regarding illegal guns and has spent his entire time taking about the bush and stuff..

We have no gun lobby in nsw nor do we have any political parties... it's f***ed

The ammo bill is a nsw thing, every time you buy ammo you have to have your home address written down and it's recorded what you purchased and the amount. Ohh and if it's a pistol you have to prove it's for a pistol. Even the .22lr.... so you know how your licences don't have our addresses on it to keep it a secret, well now I buy ammo and hand over my licence to some guy who writes my address. The calibre I bought and the quantity so that when it falls into a crime hands they know where I live and what gun calibre I own..

Interesting point.When I needed 7mm rem mag in Katherine NT I recall showing my licence but I am sure they made no note of it.I purchased 20x160gn highland

Hornet is the correct size for cane toad destruction.If placed correctly you will get complete detonation e.g 5 seperate pieces.lucky I had a dry suit and googles cos it can be a wet sport

I can go to QLD and buy ammo and bring it home.... no logging. Like if I buy ammo and give it to my licences friend.... I can buy pistol ammo on my rego papers and give it to a person who doesn't have that calibre... it relates to purchasing only.. not ownership

I think in your reply to Title-ll you may have made a typing error Gamerancher? it should be 1.2 -1.4 Meters in length and the quills as well as being sharp are 12-14" long. They have only lasted this long because they are so well equipped in their defence against their enemies the Drop Bear and The Killer Koalas !!
That is Why we need to have ready access to ammo to help defend them and don't need "No Stinking Ammo Bill"

Doesn't mean it can't happen and I have posted evidence on this forum that limiting ammo sales was originally part of the NFA plan.

With you chronos.Its like playing cards and everyone is into it but one player is screwing around and not paying attention and keeps saying is it my turn and what just happened.Handguns and Security are serious topics to be discussed rationally so informed decisions can be made and put in place.We have 2 SFFP members here in W.A.and I have the ear of the party.If there are genuine Issues that need addressing I am up for it.Can you stop with the silly pictures.I know I have the choice to not open threads but then I am missing what this forum is all about.Can any one point me to this ammo bill that is so important and if I agree its not reasonable it will get tabled for discussion
