Waiting time for QP 0515?

Post by apathetic » 20 Aug 2014, 10:06 am

G'day,
Has anyone in here lodged the Queensland form QP 0515 - "Application for statement of eligibility to join an approved pistol shooting club" lately?

How painful was the waiting time?

Cheers

My Daughter lodged one and it took about 1 month. That seems to be about the norm. .

Cheers

Wow!

Looks like they are getting their act together...

We lodged ours on the 5th, and they were in the PO box yesterday. :D

Thanks for your replies guys.

Good to hear.

They've said they were turning things around but I was sceptical.

Good to see something come of all the talk.

They do seem faster the last few weeks.

A few guys here and IRL getting there papers within weeks instead of months like I've know the same thing to take in the past.

Good stuff.

We'll see how it pans out over the long run.

Easy to turn out a few quickly, if they keep it up for a few months and things don't slide backwards again soon I'll give them the thumbs up.

Good news for QLD shooters I guess.

I'd still be happy if we did away with the registries all together personally
