What is the REAL solution ?

Questions about Queensland gun and ammunition laws. QLD Weapons Act 1990.

What is the REAL solution ?

Post by Die Judicii » 13 Mar 2026, 1:24 am

We are all guilty of blaming the government/s for the current plight of our used to be great country.

The common catch phrases of, Weak Kneed,, Knee Jerk Reactions,, Gutless,, Clueless,, Ill Informed,, are a daily occurrance.

But where does the repair actually begin,, and what in particular needs to be done first and foremost, that will set us as a country back on the rails ????

So, become a Prime Minister, or even the government itself,,,,,,, and list in order of importance, what the REAL solutions would be for Australia.

in 1996 , john howard didn't just introduce gun laws , he brought in free trade agreements , which removed import tariffs . the tariffs protected local industry and manufacturing. i've watched our industry decline over the last 30 years , we've lost jobs and the skilled workers those jobs produced . we hardly make anything anymore , it's all imported . urea for fertilizer is in the spotlight at the moment , we used to make it here . government didn't learn about our sovereignty and security from covid at all . we almost ran out of chemicals for purification of drinking water during covid cause it's imported from china . so to me , making things here is a big one, for our security and jobs .

secondly, scrap duel citizenship . it hardly inspires loyalty and patriotism to australia as a nation . much more stringent checks on immigrants . we've let some real ratbags into this country that don't assimilate . their here for the better living conditions , not to become australians

get out of UN agreements . the UN is driving our ridiculous green policies and dictating what refugees from what countries we have to take as well as influencing some of our foreign policies. our country , our choices .

our political system needs to be overhauled . one vote for the person your voting for . preferences and voting boundaries are being skewed to favour the duopoly . they've also put a cap on donations to the minors to favour the duopoly . it's hardly democratic .

so there's a few for ya DJ . it's early , my coffee hasn't kicked in yet , so some of these views maybe flawed . but this is the key points to me . when i did a stint recently driving a truck delivering plumbing for commercial and construction around brisbane and the goldy , the most common big projects in industry where massive sheds for transport and logistics. in a year i can't recall delivering to any new manufacturing business , just logistics for imports

Sack every politician and make them reapply with proper background checks.

Pay politicians a basic retainer, then bonuses for actually achieving what they said they would. If I say I was going to do something, and I only do 90% of it I don't get paid anything and my client uses that money to pay somebody else to fix the mess.

Cut 95% of bureaucratic jobs!

Repeal 90% of our laws. We have a law to prosecute people for murder, we don't need 1000 additional laws about how they murdered somebody, or why, or when, or where, or what with.

Get out of the UN!

Take proper control of our resource exports.

Start building an actual defence force with Australian resources.

Teach kids patriotism and love for their country.

Stop allowing importation of welfare voters, we should be importing assets instead of liabilities.
Practice Strict Gun Control - Precision Counts!

A country so rich in natural resources should never have ended up like this, but the UN has some sort of hold over the uni-party.

It may have been the latest Topherfield, but not been watching much of him, so not real sure, a good guest that is ex-military explained how that other good ex-military polly tried to fix the fuel dependence issue, and others like our defence, that is weaker than Elbo himself.

Even after they spend the millions on reports to show the evidence, small change to them.
They put it away as the next election is the only concern.
He admitted it was different, and Hawk, Howard, And the Keating types were thinking past the 3 year term.
I think they fell for that pattern that we left them for 6 years to let them actually doo something, but as we all now know, they do nothing.

Only One Nation can force change, but I think Wong wants her charged with the hate laws they made.
We will see how far they go, but in Wokeworld, they may well do it to get back to the uni-parties and all their consultant mates keeping their noses in the trough.

With the hard times not going away, how can we now afford the massive govt, and govt waste. I don't see how we can.
Minns can now see that NSW can't even afford the new airport infustructure or to fix the hospitals.
They can now see that their mates roads company and the private profit collecters have also failed.
No point even bringing the new high-rise living and housing crisis as we all know what Sydney and Melbourne will end up like.
A total mess si my guess.

The only sure thing is the kids will pay dearly, and for now we will have to pay for this mess.

They think the latest war is over, and it will all be swept back under the carpet, but something else will occur, as well as mother nature paying us back.

Give professional dole bludgers the option of being taken OFF the electoral role, in exchange for not being hounded to get a job. That way, pollies won't be afraid to tackle real issues for fear of offending a large voting block.

Remove the behind the scenes lobbying and influence..
Sack the entire government.
Remove councils and put the responsibility back with the state.
Term limits in all positions.

For starters these new communist Queensland laws banning speech need to go. I don't agree with them but I support their right to say words.

Excluding express threats of violence. IE I am going to kill you, rape you, attack you etc etc. People should be able to say what they like no matter how vile or disgusting some may find it.

actually , i think one aspect that hasn't been mentioned is the legal system . justice is expensive in this country . mind you, a lot of crims get legal aid for free . judges , especially ones who make poor rulings or give out inadequate sentences should be more accountable . the american idea of electing them, rather than appointing them is a good idea that would see judges lift their game in regard to community sentiments and expectations in sentencing .
