Smells like trouble... And I'm in it

Post by Carter » 09 Nov 2014, 9:14 pm

I was mowing the lawn today when I suddenly got hit my a nice fresh smell.

Says to myself... That's nice, I wonder what it is?

Sure enough, I didn't realise the misses planted a run parsley alongside the fence and I've gone and mulched them all.

She didn't notice tonight but I'm in trouble tomorrow when the sun rises

I wouldn't worry about it too much, it should grow back quick enough.

In a stroke of luck a little laziness paid off this time around.

Normally I cut it pretty short so I have to do it less frequently. This time had the blade set at max height so I could just run over the top of it real quick and tidy up appearances a bit.

If I can keep her out of the backyard for a week the whole thing might go unnoticed

Mate, you're not thinking but you now have the perfect opportunity :D

I used to get blasted for not helping with any type of gardening maintenance etc but its just not my thing. Awhile ago I volunteered to help do some weeding but it got so boring I deliberately yanked out some plants that I knew were not weeds and later she went off her brain why I had pulled those out etc etc.

"I thought they were weeds as I don't have a clue about gardens"

Since then I have been permanently BANNED from all garden duties even to the extent her birthday was a few weeks ago and what did she want. Her own Wipper Snipper so I brought here a top notch Stihl and she reckoned I was God. She now also does that while I have to unfortunately go to my workshop to amuse myself :D

You need to grab the opportunity now and fess up and indicate you thought the parsley was weeds and you will be banned from mowing :D

I've pulled out the 'I didn't know any better' card a few times already to get banned from things.

Just recently too, it's thin but still holding up to scrutiny so far. Gotta not push it too far...

She'll realise I can't be that dumb sooner or later
