QLD Government has very clear policies about social media posts (which would include YouTube videos) for all employees and contractors. As citizens people are entitled to any opinion that a free society allows (with limits of hate speech, etc.) but can't mention where they work or present any opinion and imply it is official or anything other than their own.
For example, like all of us, Ozzie can criticize politicians and the current laws and the behavior of the main lobby groups on the opposing sides of gun laws but would have to be ultra careful about any comment about the way that the police are creating policies based on the laws and how they are acting other than through very general observation of facts that are already public domain. He also can't mention any connection that he has to the police or any government department.
As far as I can see he has followed the rules and notified superiors and obtained the necessary permissions in advance, he shouldn't have anything to be concerned about unless there is actual content in one of his videos in dispute. Clearly there isn't, just some left wing bs along the lines of "how dare you disagree with us and have so many people taking notice of you, we have to stop you"
