Moving A/B license from VIC to QLD

Post by ALz » 15 Sep 2020, 10:14 am

Hi all,

I am planning to move to QLD from VIC in the near future (next 3 month). I have A/B VIC license and one rifle (T3).
What is the process to move your license and guns to QLD? What is the most efficient way to do it?

Cheers,
Alex.

You start fresh with a licence application in Qld.
No such thing as transferring a licence interstate.

Your vic licence is recognised in qld for lawful possession while travelling im not sure whether or not it could be used in the interim when moving states a call to wlq would probably be your best bet.

Yes it is valid for generally three-months.
