Cat H safety course in Brisbane.

Hi all.

Getting involved in pistol shooting and so now need to do Cat H safety course. I am already a licensed long arms shooter.

Is there a place in Brisbane north side that offers Cat H only course?

Thanks

I've only seen A/B or A/B/H courses but you should join a pistol club first and ask their advice, they might even run one themselves. You need to have completed the course for your H license application but that will be 6 months after you joined a pistol section.

As an existing A/B holder you don't need the QP515 authorisation to join a pistol section, just the personal references.

Appreciated.

I joined the pistol club nearly a year ago, but got to the first recorded pistol shot only last week and planning to complete the required three shoots and safety course within next months or two.

Is this an issue that I did not take part in any comps during the initial 6 months in the pistol club?

Thanks
