I don't recall the specifics but I looked into bringing my replicas with me from Perth two years ago and it was effectively easier to simply get a pistol licence and buy real handguns here in Victoria

I think you need to have a genuine reason which I didn't have - maybe somebody like a movie armourer would have no problems though.

Maybe firearms collecting clubs?
The other thing, they're considered to be real firearms here so they need to be kept in a gun safe just like real handguns, with the same penalties for noncompliance.
