Registration Certificates

Post by jezzab » 19 Mar 2025, 3:53 pm

Usually when I have purchased a firearm from the LGS I get a temp certificate showing the transfer and then the one from LRD comes through a couple of weeks later. Admittedly my experience of this has been with Cat A firearms.

Couple months ago I purchased some Cat B's, got a temp one from the LGS for one but the second she was in a rush to head out.

Should I be concerned that I don't have the LRD certificates for either firearm and more so, that I don't even have a temp one of the transfer of one of them from the LGS?

Curious how this would play out in an inspection

Show them if they ask for it.

I've been checked twice and they didn't ask to see certificates, they just want to see the firearms.

This, I have been inspected several times and they never ask. Wouldn't do any good if they did I don't have Certificates for many firearms some going back decades. They use the latest printout of your List, ( it may not ne accurate though!!)
