VIC PTA submission with licence application.

Post by tomnumurkah » 05 Feb 2016, 7:11 pm

Hi guys

I have sent off my firearms licence application along with my PTA'S at the same time, I had heard that this can mean that there is only 1 28 day waiting period. My question is has anyone actually done this? if so what happened and how long after licence payment did it take for the PTA's to rock up?

Thanks guys, long time reader and first time poster, any help is much appreciated.

Yes, what you've heard is correct.

I did it for mine a few years ago and it took about a month and they both came back within a few days of each other instead of 2x 28 day waits.

Yeah I have thought about the shotgun, I really don't know just how much I would use it and my brother in law has one that I can borrow.

Might be in the market for a 410/45lc in the rossi circuit judge....

Dont bother with a 410. Get a 20g or 12g
