Referee question

Post by Braddle » 13 May 2021, 6:14 pm

Gday,

I’m just looking into getting my referee and I just have a question, I know a few coppas and on the table it says

-A member of the Australian Federal Police, or of the police force of a State or Territory, who in the normal course of his or her duties, is in charge of a police station.

-A member of the Australian Federal Police, or of the police of a State or Territory, of or above the rank of sergeant

I can’t remember the ranks of the cops I know, maybe one of them is sergeant, but can it be any member of vic police,

Cheers in advance for the clarification

No they must be in charge of a station or a sergeant or above.

Some very small town stations will have a senior constable in charge of the station.
