Don’t know. Not something I’d experienced before. Usually under a week.
And then the lgs told me I could pick up the gun anyway and they’d put it on the books as a loan hire . But I didn’t really like that idea.
But you can imagine it’s messing with people’s businesses. They do need to sell the odd firearm.
But whatever, I didn’t need this rifle till Christmas, so just be patient.

Not the shop that I’ve lodged this current PTA with, but a bigger one still pretty close by said that if I bought a rifle they’d give it to me on the loan hire job as well. But I didn’t end up going through them so I’ll just have to wait it out.

Around here if they know you the loan hire thing is standard practice I have done it 3 times and didn't even have to go back when the paperwork cane through .
