He sought out an interview with a TV show, then proceeded to shoot a feral cat with a rabbit blunt only to have it run around on camera with a frigging arrow hanging out of its head. He's also well known amongst the bow hunting fraternity to visit national parks and such....for wildlife photography...

Sorry for my ignorance.
What is a "rabbit blunt"?

Giving a cat a facial piercing on tv definitely wasn't a great PR move.

poor old zack, thats going back a fair way now tho, what was that like 2012?

he was prolific on shooting feral cats, and yes I often suspected some of his shots were from national park areas, but in my opinion someone bowhunting a nationally declared destructive pest like a cat even in national parks, should be financially rewarded not harassed or penalized.

A blunt arrow? No broad head? Ok. I've seen them.

Does anyone know what ended up happening with this one?

I couldn't find anything on the net... perhaps the animal liberation movement and the cat lovers forget about him and he learned his lessons about posting publicly and using proper hunting heads?

We can only hope. The Greens stunt to ban duck hunting seems to have dropped off the radar too. After a state election all bills that haven't been read (it's heaps far down the list) in the houses are essentially forgotten about. They can submit a new one after the election if they are keen enough but it would go back to the end of the list.
