Buying ammo from interstate?

Post by andym79 » 25 May 2014, 9:39 pm

Hi guys, is it possible to buy ammo from interstate?

How would you get it shipped from say Victoria or Queensland to SA.

I know that AusPost won't ship ammunition, so who does?

I ask because I can't get hold of any of the ammunition I am looking for in Adelaide!

You'd need someone who ships dangerous goods. Never looked into it too much but I think it would be very expensive

I think the 'dangerous goods' declaration and fee is like $90 on top of the regular shipping.

Gotta be buying serious bulk for it to be worth it.

(assuming that's right)
