Get out of the house !

Post by Blr243 » 03 Apr 2020, 5:33 pm

Lately I have re read some of my posts and it’s as if I don’t remember posting them. They don’t make much sense ...too much corona down time and not enough work I realise is harmful. A wise man once said AN IDLE MIND IS EASY PREY FOR THE DEVIL .....so I just took my mongrel dog for an extra long walk and three quarters of the way thu it was feeling so much better. The government s statement of allowing us personal excercise is a very wise move It’s a great stress reliever, most of us are too fat. and it’s something easier for us Aussie’s to do in our not so populated country So forget about the fact that your tin of 2209 is nearly empty , get of your backsides and take your dogs for a good walk , and if u don’t have a dog take an imaginary dog for a walk ..it can be any breed you want .... going for another walk myself right now

I too have made a few trips to Cunnings in the last week.

But the thing that gets me is,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Both times I have made myself a list of what is required,,
Got on to the local Cunnings Store website, found each one and copied down the I/N and the $ price, added up to the total (calculator)

On both occasions when I got to the store approx 1 hour later, and got the items,,,,,, the total $ was just on 60 cents dearer than their web prices.

A piddling amount,,,,,,,,, but why ? :wtf: :unknown:

150 m cat reminds me of the time at gundy we left the shearing shed ( camp ) early in the semi winter morning and I spied a solo pig. We were both bowhunting. Awesome to get a pig with the bow so close to camp. Sometimes u can walk 15 k bowhunting without even grabbing an arro from your quiver

Diabetes kills 4300 people a day worldwide. Heart disease a bit more.

Judging by what I saw people hoover up at the stores to survive the pandemonium; candy, cookies, frozen food junk and the fact most people are not getting a lot of exercise, the long term diabetes, heart disease and cancer will probably kill more people over time from this whole deal than the virus.

So get outside and exercise.

Imagine if u made a hat from your neighbours cat , and you forgot that you were wearing it , and he sung out over the fence come ova for a beer ? No I have not seen your cat. Are u absolutely sure you haven’t seen my cat.?...so at the end of the day once it’s tanned it should be swapped for another different coloured hat in a different town ....... I don’t think I have ever tanned a cat .... bucket list maybe. I think I’ll just get mine from the bush .......my neighbours who have two cats are actually really nice decent people. I’m nervous about how my dog looks at them when they come close to our fence. My fence is only 3 feet high. Hope his cats can run real fast and are good climbers ....gotta maintain good neighbour relations esp in these tough times. How do u get a good cat skin with a 243? Maybe solid 22 mag is better I think ....under the current circumstances I will have a lot of time to think about my next cat .......

Neighbor looks over the fence and sees the little girl next door just finishing digging a hole a meter wide and 2 meters deep.

He asks Whats the hole for ?

Little girl said,, its for my poor Kitty Kat.

Neighbor says, That's a mighty big hole for a Kitty Kat.

Little girl says,, Not really cos Kitty Kat is inside your German Shepherd. :wtf:

My dog got stuck inside a German Shepard a bout a week ago ....... it’s a Pretty yukky think to see I was horrified. He wasn’t screaming but he was turned around facing the other way and I felt sorry for him because it looked like his pecker might be all busted and broken and twisted but after a minute they separated by themselves and he’s fine now
