My bags are full of these, weigh nothing, do not compact of absorb water or static electricity.
I leave my bags outside under a small roof over my shooting bench, and often light rain is blown in over them to no effect whatsoever.

Some of the green rear bags have a large black belt clip on them. When going for a walk with a heavy barreled big long range gun with a bipod installed, the rear bag gives you a rock steady prone shot. The plastic bead filled ones are so light you don't notice carrying them, and you can stuff them completely full and as DJ says, don't compact smaller. Great workout!

Mine aren't light. I have a pair of bags by my desk so I just dropped them on the bathroom scale and they're right around 5kg. The small rear bag I put on a 2kg scale and it weighs 1085gm, so the front bag is around 4kg. The plastic pellets are the best I've used for the job. I tried sand/dirt as well but it eventually went so hard it became actually solid and was a real mongrel to empty out the small filling ports. And they were bloody heavy.

On the occasions I have taken the rear bag into the field I either use it as a rear rest behind a front bipod, or use it as a front rest over a log or whatever other rest I've found.

Thank you dye243. This seller is significantly cheaper than another Seller on ebay.
Do you reckon that their 3Kg would fill my bag that is 10" X 6" X 6" or 25cm X 15cm X 15cm?

Just look at a three liter milk carton for physical size those poly beads are lighter than water or milk so I suppose it will

Many thanks again mate. Managed to order your recommendation after being put through many trials and tribulations, by ebay
Now it is on its way :D
