 exactly the response i was expecting after sampling some of your previous posts . if sarcasm and trolling is your thing you'd be better off on facebook mate , or one of the other firearm forums you hold in higher regard . i mean what sort of response did you think you were going to get coming on here and bagging this forum mate :unknown:

Bigrich, you’ve spent thousands of posts and years of your life talking over the top of everyone, mistaking noise for relevance and pushback for disrespect. You’re not a pillar of this forum, you’re the dead weight, the problem. Just another loud bloke who thinks hanging around long enough earns you authority.

You’re not keeping the place alive, you’re the reason it’s on life support. You’ve become the thing that chases people off. Smug, thin-skinned, and too far up yourself to realise no one’s listening anymore.

So yeah, keep yapping to the empty room, it’s already cleared out, and you haven’t even noticed because you’re so far up your own arse. And the only thing more cooked than this forum is the idea that you’re still relevant.

Not a single one of you had the guts or the brains to actually engage with what I said, just the usual suspects, feathers ruffled, faking outrage like it's some noble cause. Bigrich rolled out his tired victim routine like it’s the first time he’s heard a hard truth, Billo threw a dummy spit and called it loyalty, and the rest lined up to slap each other on the back like that somehow proved a point. It did — you’re losers and everyone is laughing at you.

No substance. No counterargument. Just the same recycled chest-beating that’s turned this place into a ghost town with a post counter.

This isn’t a forum anymore, it’s a retirement village for fragile egos with nothing better to do. And the saddest part? You’re so far up yourselves you actually think you’re keeping it alive, when really, you’re the dead weight dragging it down.

You didn’t just prove me right, you put it in bold, underlined it, and signed your names underneath..

Billo, if “Judy” is the best you can throw, it’s no wonder this forum’s on life support. That wasn’t wit, it was the kind of banter you hear when the smart blokes have already left the room.

I made one honest point and suddenly it’s open mic night for the fragile and forgotten. You lot pile on like it’s group therapy for egos. It’s like watching a bunch of blokes standing around a corpse, arguing whether it’s asleep.

Die, your replies read like a cry for relevance dressed up in bad grammar. If commas were insight, you’d be a genius, but sadly, all you've managed is a slow-motion car crash of half-baked snark and zero substance.

“Why are you still here?” Mate, that’s the last refuge of someone who’s been mentally out of the conversation since dial-up. You don’t debate, you deflect. You don’t contribute, you just loiter in threads tossing pub logic and hoping it sticks.

You called my posts unconstructive, but all you’ve added is denial. If this forum was a sinking ship, you'd be the guy blaming the water while drilling new holes for airflow.

You're not part of the solution. You're what the problem looks like when it hits “Post Reply.”

Always gets juicy on Saturday nights op.

Pro tip hold till morning to have the last word.

But you have to time it right. Just before the cleaners get up.

And then you strike hard, in the dead of morning , for the glory .

Same I cant help it.

I will say this and not directed at anyone in particular.

I believe the first step to admitting you have a problem is admitting you are the problem, or something like that.

And seeking validation in your life from conflict is not a good habit.

And there you go. That’s our typical Saturday night Jerry Springer show op

taking responsibility for your actions is the biggest shortcoming in this modern world IMHO. people say and do things then try to flip it onto others :unknown:

I think that as in everywhere in life, we will come across a multitude of different folks. All have their place and you nor I have to like it. It's just the way it is.
My experience has been mostly positive and people have helped me without snide or sarcastic commentary. Frankly if they had, I wouldn't have minded.
Live and let live, buddy. Everything goes.
Pull up your big boy panties and do what you would in public .. filter and move on. And be reminded that words do not hurt people. We are not woke. We do not cry when someone flips us the bird. We have a giggle and go 'legend', and 'grab that c*** a beer'!!!
We tend to lean into free speech, freedom of expression, freedoms in general. And firearms. Right? Some of us might even feel it necessary to fight for those rights. And on that basis aren't we better off being a little more accepting of those we may differ with from time to time?
How about we practice what we preach?
At the end of the day we all have much more in common than not.
Our differences are what makes things interesting. Wouldn't it be a bland and boring old place if everyone were the same? So bitch, moan, throw shade and sarcasm or otherwise. It's all good and all welcome afaic.
Now, how about that beer?

Oldbloke, cheers for the deep dive into my post history all 40 posts, shame you missed the punchline. It was a joke, mate. Satire. Bit of banter. I get that nuance isn’t everyone’s strong suit, but this one wasn’t exactly hidden in code.

You showed up with a post count audit to fact-check sarcasm. If that’s what passes for engagement here, it’s no wonder the place is on life support.

But hey, solid effort mate. Maybe next time I’ll include a pie chart and subtitles so you don’t miss the point.

cracking strategy, only one small hiccup: that post was at 3:48am Saturday morning, not Saturday night. But hey, time gets slippery when you're deep in the glory of forum warfare.

Appreciate the battle plan though. I’ll be sure to deliver the killing blow right after the early risers finish their toast and check who needs correcting before 9am.

good lord  your just brimming over with narcissistic sarcasm . don't you have another more hip forum to be on instead of trolling us poor old fragile fellas on this dying, empty room forum ? freedom of speech is good , so long as it's done with a bit of respect . which doesn't seem to be the case with social media . what's the topic again..... :P

Bigrich, watching you stumble through that reply was like listening to someone explain fire safety while holding a lit match over a fuel drum. You don’t “play the victim”? Mate, you’ve been clutching your pearls since the first paragraph. You call it trolling because I didn’t pat your head and tell you everything’s fine. But that’s the issue, isn’t it? Around here, honesty gets labelled aggression the moment it bruises an ego, especially if it doesn’t follow the status quo or upsets the old boys who think tenure equals authority. Just like we’ve seen here.

You’re not offended? That’s adorable  this wasn’t designed for your comfort. It’s a spotlight, not a support group.

And as for your “go elsewhere” routine, classic move   . Tell anyone holding up a mirror to leave, just so you don’t have to look.

Tell anyone holding up a mirror to leave, just so you don’t have to look.

 mate go back and read your posts and responses to others and hold that mirror up to yourself . i'm going to assume your a much younger person than myself judging from your behaviour. it's so easy to be a legend from behind a computer screen mate :P

I believe the first step to admitting you have a problem is admitting you are the problem, or something like that.

And seeking validation in your life from conflict is not a good habit.

And there you go. That’s our typical Saturday night Jerry Springer show op

Appreciate the armchair wisdom, but let’s not confuse vague life advice with relevance. “Seeking validation through conflict” that’s a tidy little soundbite, but it only works if the conflict wasn’t already there. I didn’t create the dysfunction. I just pointed at it, and a few egos combusted on cue. That’s not validation, mate. That’s diagnosis..

taking responsibility for your actions is the biggest shortcoming in this modern world IMHO. people say and do things then try to flip it onto others :unknown:

also, an old quote, "know thyself and be set free ....."

Quoting “know thyself” while spending half the thread dodging your own reflection is bold , I’ll give you that. You talk about personal responsibility like it’s a TED talk, then immediately pivot to finger-pointing like it’s muscle memory. If there’s one thing you’ve proven here, it’s that quoting wisdom isn’t the same as understanding it.

Pro tip hold till morning to have the last word.

But you have to time it right. Just before the cleaners get up.

And then you strike hard, in the dead of morning , for the glory .

cracking strategy, only one small hiccup: that post was at 3:48am Saturday morning, not Saturday night.

Bigrich, if I’m “brimming with narcissistic sarcasm,” you must be overflowing with fragile projection. I make one light jab about timing and suddenly it’s a full-blown morality lecture from the forum’s unofficial hall monitor.

You keep calling it trolling, but let’s be honest. anything that doesn’t come with a head-nod and a thank-you note gets labelled disrespectful around here. If the sarcasm stings, maybe it's because it’s too close to home.

And as for your sudden reverence for respectful discourse, mate, you’ve been rolling your eyes and dishing out backhanders since the first page. Don’t try to wear a halo now just because you don’t like the mirror
