I don’t consider myself to be a tough guy, but this mornings experience has made me wonder. I had to go for a blood test and as i seated in the chair i was asked, “Which is your dominant hand ?” I indicated my (R) and said why,,,does it really matter ? The woman replied “We don’t want you to be lifting any heavy weights afterwards for the rest of the day”. I said that i lift heavy stuff all the time, and asked again, Why does it matter ? Her answer left me virtually speechless. She said “If you do, it might cause you to get a bruise where the needle went in.” WTF ?????? What a pussy world we live in.

It may just be procedure at that particular pathology clinic, likely related to (legally) covering their arse.
People on blood thinners can bruise if you look at them sideways.
I would imagine there have been cases in the court where someone bruised like crazy after getting blood taken and tried to sue somebody arguing they weren't suitably advised.
So yes it is APWWLI.

FFS,,, I’m so sick of this pussy conceited world that’s taken over. So what,, if i do get a bruise it aint gonna change me or my way of life. It would disappear after a short while anyway. If something as trivial as that upsets people they need to get a life.

It's more that some people will whinge about that at the drop of a hat DJ, you are right about the world pull of pussies. Never-do's with an opinion or a whinge about the doers because others having a go secretly shows them up.
Of they don't tell you that, as a policy, they are more liable to scurrilous baby whiners that will go apesh1t if they pull a big bruise, and are always looking for something or someone else to blame.
The wife actually puts it into patient notes, and the fact that a caution has especially more weight with people with high blood pressure and/or blood thinners.
Those notes come in handy many times a year.
