Yeah, absolutely.
It will be the first thing to go, people will roll the dice instead.
I absolutely hate insurance, but in some circumstances it’s necessary.

Insurance has and will continue to go up no matter what. Insurance premiums are based on inflation and risk i.e. claims, because profit is why they exist.
Just like those of us who have ever had to make businesses work and balance the books so that they, and the employees can be paid, realise.
Whether it's for your house, car or even workers, and even when the country should have been doing well but hasn't obviously because of the parasites that infest government, it is increasing at a rate people cannot afford.
\Because people's costs for everything else are being squeezed as well, more so.

Why can't people afford it ever more and more?
The insanity of the renewables lie perpetrated by university-activists underpinned by overseas interests to their own everlasting personal wealth at our expense,
the complete clusterf*ck of management of energy, so obvious now;
and the insistence of the plebs NEVER to look at where their political picks came from, what they did prior, and whether or not they were butt-f*cking trash that never achieved anything prior to politics.
And if you dare to pint this out, the babies throw their toys out of the cot and do what losers since the dawn of time do, personal attacks for daring to voice the opinion of the masses.
So people that are scared of upsetting the apple cart just keep quiet, do what they're told and contribute to this downfall.

We had a big discussion about this, some mates came down from another farm to bring their visitors down to see the big red stags and the Elk, and they have run out of feed. Almost out of water. I'm going to bring a semi of hay down and throw the top row on for them because the truck cost was expected anyway. $3 more/km that what it was just before this skirmish started.
They have been to Iraq, Afghan, East Timor and Somalia and they can see what's coming. They reckon that we will soon be eating our stock. At least, they know how low mummy's boy politicians will go, what they can ruin through sheer incompetence, and what religious zealotry can achieve.

In a few weeks, there may be no more diesel. Then I'll can hear the screams of the soccer mums from all the way over the great divide when they can't get fuel to get to ballet practice. But when Coles, Woolies and Aldi have empty shelves, maybe they'll realise their voting mistakes.

Another thing that SHOULD be on the decline in harsh times but is NOT,, is these Car Wash places. I still see all the yuppies lining up in droves and waiting to do the “drive through” in the automatic car washes. And most of em look cleaner than mine is, which is not getting washed. For some,,, times aren’t Hard Enough yet.

I drove to Nowra yesterday. I brought three Jerry cans of fuel just in case fuel supply dries up before Monday when I head home. I only made one stop, at Eden, but I checked all the fuel prices I saw en-route. All about the same for most of it, about $2.25 for 91RON and $3.15 for diesel. From Eden up the coast it is a little higher, around $3.30 for diesel. But Eden was the dearest I saw, and they only had one of their four pumps working. I paid $2.67 for 98RON, at home it was $2.45 when I filled the jerrys last Thursday. Traffic was pretty quiet until Eden, then the east coast was very busy.

Very pretty coming up the coast but the hills were hard on my little car. Had to drop to third to overtake on the uphill overtaking lanes, which killed my fiel economy. I'd come this way again on the bike but I wouldn't drive it.

Went into the club early yesterday, shot an air pistol match and a 50m match and hit the road at 1030. Arrived here at 1848, had a feed and crawled into the back for a good sleep.

Police are training here today, just been chatting with a SWAT guy. Supposed to be about twenty other Cowboy shooters arriving today but I'm guessing they'll trickle in later today, I'm on my own so far. I'll go for a long walk in the bush and look for a nice quiet spot to park
