I can put about 25 through the HTI 50 before it starts to hurt although Laurie only needed 2 shots to realise it wasn't for him :)

Bits of blanket, grass and dirt. The muzzle blast on that rifle is quite strong, I won't shoot it prone from the ground cause I got sick of eating dirt and even on the bench it'll throw up dust, not to mention shred the blanket. 750Gr AMAX @ 2800fps in a 13.5kg rifle tends to recoil a bit :) My old mate in the video is a well seasoned professional fox shooter and gunsmith. I helped him cross a few rounds off his bucket list of cartridges to fire and credit to him it's a friggen big gun for someone in their 70's weighing as little as he did to back up for a 2nd shot.

OK, it looked like metal. If it wasn't a bolt I would have thought it was brass.

I noticed the muzzle over the bench and over the blanket. Heck, I've done that with an 11.5" M16 with a PWS comp. I shot it at an indoor range a couple times and the muzzle sparks were bouncing off the walls and coming back at me while 15 years of lead and spent powder rained down on me from the ceiling. And that's just 5.56, albeit with 11.5" barrel ;)

I think I posted this before:
