Yes the Americans are like that too too have you noticed on these TV shows it's tens of thousands of pounds instead of tones and it's thousands of feet instead of yards they don't like small numbers

On one wheel and Wapiti. 20 push ups each.
No I don’t care who started it.

I don't have the answer, wish I did. It's not a new problem.

I got into firearm ownership later in life (im 45) but did have experiences with them growing up, now its become a necessity where I live and also a sport.
Over the six months I have been on this forum I have had people help me with a plethora of knowlege. They have helped me understand and put up with some of my strange an silly questions and I have even spoken to a couple of the phone. So greatful and I've learned so much and still have much more to learn (the more you know the more you realize you dont know)
BUT...
What the hell is going on now days with few people on here, im seeing:
Passive agressive comments
Sneaky snide comments
Comments on every post after an altrication, deliberately trying to undermind the person they dont agree with
Megalomaniacy
Back peddling with a barrage of irrelevent facts to mask the original answer
Full blown backlash comments
The list goes on....
So, was it always like this? I doubt it based on I see people with 12,000 posts. This isnt the first forum I've been on and I know things happen but this is pretty agressive at the moment by my standards (you should see car forums, its a blood bath. Bitchiest sport every)
If its dick measuring contest then PM em them with a picture against a ruler and be done with it
Anyway, no one probably gives a s**t but its becoming pretty obvious. I thought it was maybe the full moon for a while but we have had 2 or 3 of them now lol

No this is the new plan. We’re all brothers in arms now. I could give you a long list of gun groups and people involved that I dislike heartily.
Irrelevant. You put them first now. Perhaps begrudgingly but nevertheless it’s absolutely necessary now.
What’s happening in WA is coming to us all. No doubts anymore. I don’t think what they’re doing is currently constitutional. But it will be when it’s nationwide. So it’s happening and happening fast.
So yep. Now we advocate for people might personally hate. Including complete idiots. We’re all on the same boat. We need all hands on deck.

Pro tip hold till morning to have the last word.
But you have to time it right. Just before the cleaners get up.
And then you strike hard, in the dead of morning , for the glory .

I will say this and not directed at anyone in particular.
I believe the first step to admitting you have a problem is admitting you are the problem, or something like that.
And seeking validation in your life from conflict is not a good habit.
And there you go. That’s our typical Saturday night Jerry Springer show op

My experience has been mostly positive and people have helped me without snide or sarcastic commentary. Frankly if they had, I wouldn't have minded.
Live and let live, buddy. Everything goes.
Pull up your big boy panties and do what you would in public .. filter and move on. And be reminded that words do not hurt people. We are not woke. We do not cry when someone flips us the bird. We have a giggle and go 'legend', and 'grab that c*** a beer'!!!
We tend to lean into free speech, freedom of expression, freedoms in general. And firearms. Right? Some of us might even feel it necessary to fight for those rights. And on that basis aren't we better off being a little more accepting of those we may differ with from time to time?
How about we practice what we preach?
At the end of the day we all have much more in common than not.
Our differences are what makes things interesting. Wouldn't it be a bland and boring old place if everyone were the same? So bitch, moan, throw shade and sarcasm or otherwise. It's all good and all welcome afaic.
Now, how about that beer?

Sounds like we are below their standards
