Inspired by recent game cook-ups by fellow South Australians (to be honest, more so Bentarrow's recent roast leg of goat wrapped in bacon cook-up, & not so much Bigpete's fried crow strap), the other night i did just that--wrapped a goat leg in bacon & threw it in the oven.
Well i was going to make another main dinner meal with the left-overs, but famished with nothing ready to go for lunch just now, i decided to hack into it.
With the bacon, goat & some solidified bits of the dripping all sliced & diced up on some fresh buttered bread, i drizzled some light & sweet home made tomato & onion relish over the meat & gave it a lid.
Admittedly i was pretty hungry, & it probably doesnt look overly appetising, but gees it was just so bludy nice...!!!!
