I speculate next time I visit Australia I will probably see some stuff I will not be thrilled about.

We just lost half our standard of living to inflation. Seeing the third world is a good reminder that if they cut whats left in half again we may be joining them!

What bothers me a lot at grass roots/right at your door level is any catastrophes/wars now can ramp up inflation and the net worth of the blokes at the top rapid style. This is not a good position to be in for middle class, as mentioned above its human nature for us to go to war, there are dozens of wars all over the globe at the moment. Previously whether it was NATO breaking up Yugo, Iraq invading kuwait or the yanks pummling half the middle east, life went on as normal.

Now, all the money flows directly upwards in the supply chain over a war between two soviet dumps, neither even a top ten economy . Everything from fertilizers to roofing iron to QLD house insurance( im fkn serious, I saw the news somehow link that to the war lol) . Everything gets the" blame everything on the Ukraine war premiium' applied, Elon swans around the world dloing interviews like the new Bill gates aka expert of everything, meanwhile our kids or grandkids will be paying $10 for a dozen eggs shortly.

I've set up workshops, supervised production and mixed amongst some of the leading (and despised) nations in the world, not simply mixed in the tourist areas. Been visited by secret police in my hotel rooms at 11pm at night, with all sorts of slimy people who want to know all about Australia... with two pretty Siberian prostitutes to reward me on the spot should I wish to sell my soul. And believe me, they are worlds apart from the fake tourism facade.
They live in fear, under the thumb, and in abject poverty if they do not completely comply with the force of government, and shut their mouths and bust their guts to try and get into the 21st century. To sit amongst the common Chinese workers on a pebbly beach, sharing our food and drink, listening to their hushed voices about what happens when one speaks out or dares to use a VPN to look at western social media, whilst soldiers walk up and down the foreshores giving me the death stare, is not what most see.

So we appreciate what we have? And not solve these issues that our pathetic voting habits may soon see here within 20 years tops? We cannot be so short sighted and apathetic, surely.

Yeah the tacticians who came up with that need to go back to the drawing board. Sanctions are weaponised trade, the whole idea is to cripple your enemies. So far all its done is cripple our way of living and driven the net worth of the worlds richest higher. But then my position is its all a work anyway. Politicians rattle sabres in the media while the money flows upwards and the flow started in Covid, well before this war.

What upsets me the most is the fact you think about some medieval peasant back in the day. cant read or write, food expensive, taxed to the hilt and he sees the local Baron suddenly riding past in a nice new gold trim carriage and he knew he is getting screwed. Now in the 21st century with all our knowledge, and the money dissappearing upwards yet again, and we just cant make the connection

Our Uni's are spitting out activists that sit on their @rse or protest in the streets on our taxes, the schools are teaching our kids all of the above is a crime, Billions of our taxes are shoveled to China to buy cheap garbage wind turbines and solar panels destroying our farmland, and we are importing millions of hostile fake immigrants that will not assimilate and bring the crap that destroyed their own sh*tholes with them to do the same here, price out the would-be young Aussie homeowners with all this mismanagement and the trash in government is supporting it at our expense.
