I scoped myself with a Burris Eliminator.. Near on took my bloody head off hahah.. Its a right of passage though I think..

Funnily, the worst scoping I've seen first hand was by a mate who was very experienced.

Ex-special forces, was in East-Timor, has shot pistols, rifles - bolt and full-auto - small cal, 50 cal...

He was shooting prone at 500m, but the ground in front of him dipped so the bipod was too low. Instead of repositioning he sort of ducked down under it and forward so he could get his eye on to the scope.

hard to say my least favorite thing

- closest ranges to me have outlandish range fees ($35 for all day) and dumb rules (cannot shoot faster than 1 shot every 2 seconds)

- 9mm and 223 costing more than .40 a round

- long lines at the bbq joint on the way back home

- when the humidity gets over 80% on a range day

- forgetting my magazine loader at home

and most of all

- friends not being able to come with

Yeah, going to the range with a few lads is a good day out.
