Oh and more emoticons. Can never have too many of them.

Also, could there be a guide on what rank comes from how many posts? I'm still unsure on the amount of posts and the ranks given accordingly.

I agree with the messages, it's frustrating having so many 'inboxes' and then a history, a chat system would be better or at least if you mail someone twice you don't get two emails, it just comes under one.

Ok smilies have been passed along, some new ones should get added shortly.

New posts shortcut should be back for everyone and added to the drop down mobile menu as well. If you're not seeing it you should just have to refresh your browser.

The preform letters is an interesting idea. There wouldn't be enough going to need a forum for just letters but some kind of "resources" section for that and more similar things might do.

We're waiting for some info back about the chat thing as well.

Unless i've missed it a sticky thread on the state-to-state variations in the law that might get us into strife would be great.

For example: If I were to bring the Taurus Circuit Judge from Victoria into NSW I would be breaking the law.

That's for all the suggestions guys. We'll get a few more done in due course I expect.

I'm sure we can arrange a bit of that.

In passing through a few of the 'upload artwork and we'll print it on your thing' types sites I recall most of them offering everything up to and including the kitchen sink. Happy to do a short-list of popular items though.

Mugs are always a staple of these things.
Water bottles for the range.
Stubby holders
Bottle openers
Keyrings

Stickers?

Shirts?

I'll get a little feedback from people to lock in some options then see about costs for each item.
See you on the firing line.

mugs would be a shipping nightmare i'd have thought, anything than can't be broken by oz post and fits in a post bag would be the go.

Agree....I was more thinking items that were small, inexpensive and light so initial investment was low along with storage and postage requirements. Pens, Stubby holders, Stickers, Keyrings, Bottle openers....something quick and easy for the mods to post so it doesn't consume valuable banning activities :)

Chronos, Brett, Anthill,

Points taken on all of the above.

For larger/more costly things like shirts, mugs... shipping larger items etc. I was picturing using one of the art/printing drop shipping places like Cafe Press - not necessarily them, that's just the first one I came across.

Still need to check out a few others, see costs etc. but from what I know of these sites the process is the artist (for lack of a better word here) uploads their artwork, chooses the items and the site does the printing and shipping direct to customers. There is a base cost and the artist set the sell price above that to make their money.

My initial idea is to to do this and set the sell price at the base, no profit. Shipped direct there would be no double handling and we could offer the whole spread of items and people can get anything they wan't at cost. That seemed the best all round solution.

Still need to get the fine details on this of course, and look into the small stuff.
See you on the firing line.

HI Aster,
Don't sell yourself short, you need to make something out of the deal.
What we're buying here is limited edition, custom design. quality goods. ;)
If I want cheap I'll go to a $2 shop, for something "different" I don't mind paying for it.
I'm Australian I'm used to paying too much :sarcasm:

Sounds good but as above you should add a little something on top, if you don't want to put it in your pocket spend it on the forum or something

I don't mind paying a couple bucks extra if it'll help keep this site running and attracting new members. I've received a lot of valuable advice and made some friends here which has to be a good thing so I don't mind paying a little back :)

Thanks for the positive comments guys.

About the cost/sell of things I really just meant to say it wouldn't be set up in a retail for profit type way as with a traditional online "store" if things end up being delivered that way. We'll see in due course, maybe I'll put a small % on for running costs or whatever.

People chipping in a few bucks is always welcome.

Maybe we'll swap the forum to be paid membership instead? That's popular, right? Just joking  ;)

No screeming. Just makes very little sense to have a white tail deer when there are none in the country. We are lucky to have a sizable population of sambar, all the more reason to have one in the header. I mean a fox or rabbit would be better than a white tail. But there are other options Im sure. A hog or fallow pernaps?
