Welcome to the forum,
Not to put a damper on things but to keep it legal, have a read of the info on Wallaby on the DPIWE web site. Game tracks is a good place to start. Page 14

I would say most people who go out rolling wallaby do it under crop protection permits ( use of a spotlight) and not commercial licences and therefore can not sell it. There is nothing to say we can not give it away though. If the meat is for you, I would suggest that you do the skinning. I feed the dogs off some of the wallaby I shoot. I say some, as we shoot many more than I could possibly use. There are just so many of them now. As per the link aver 190 000 Were declared shot last year, but I reckon you could almost double that!

What you are doiing is tantamount to prompting a black market in game meat. Not good, mate. Not good.

Hi mate thanks for your reply and sorry if you got the wrong impression. I agree, I should definitely start the ball rolling on a firearm licence, I'm also not looking to buy meat illegally, just trying to save some cash and eat more healthy. Anyway thanks again, tas.
