My deepest condolences to you and your family Larry.
Dogs have always been my favourite people and losing one tears an unmendable hole.

I appreciate the thoughts Guys, a lot, but I'm not up to responses just now. He's here beside me now, and we'll bury him this arvo.
Give your little ones a hug from me, you just never know when this might happen.

That’s awful BR. Condolences to you for the loss. There’s a tremendous amount to said about a great dog; they genuinely become family.

I lost my old girl recently (she was 12 and in amazing shape for her age) after she chased down a roo, roo got cornered and fought its way out. A terrible way for her to go. It’s hard and they can never be replaced :(

My condolences mate

Lost a couple over the years and unfortunately it never seems to get any easier. Sad news.
