My current (& ironic) workplace...

Post by Stix » 29 Aug 2018, 10:18 pm

Well im currently working on my 3rd defense force controlled parcel of land this year...
This one is in a rural setting, and the irony is ive never driven out bush anywhere near this far without firearms, or been this long on a range i cant shoot on...

Im fitting out a training range for the army...fitting bullet resistant glass windows (that by the way are so heavy they're a 3 man lift for what is a relatively small window...!!!--but most we had only 2 guys to lift in--a real poofer valve tester...!!).

Here's a pic driving in to site...

Part of todays work...fitting jambs & hanging double doors with fancy mortice locks (left building)--bludy nightmare fighting the reo in the precast with a cordless rotary hammer..

Great pics mate.
In my experience, the Army is the only organisation that had the ability to make going to the range not fun.
Civilian range is way more enjoyable.

milwaukee are real good, we use them at work in the sheet metal game doing commercial air con. drills, grinders, shears, their all good. having said that i've got a cheapie ryobi "one" clutch drill that's been going great for 3 years now and it's done a lot off rivet,tek-screw work . like your office better than mine stix .freshair and all. i think i'm less likely to get snake bite at work but
