Dog name help

Post by Jon79 » 20 Oct 2018, 9:58 pm

hi fellas, picking up a new GSP pup shortly and trying to come up with a name and I'm stumped, so thought I'd toss it out there and see if anyone else can come up with anything,

The pup is a female & only two names I've got in the maybe pile are "Dash" & "Tikka"

looking for a bit of a unique that is short and easy to call out quickly if need be, the wife had of agreed to getting a male pup I'd have a ton of names...but geez its hard to find a name for a female that doesn't sound like it belongs to a 90yr old grandma or someone that rides a float around Sydney every year

Why ????????????

My Rottie's name is Lucy and believe me, when people are confronted with her the last thing they think of is certainly not a
90 yr old grandma

Hey DJ the old dog might get cranky because she's had too many welding flashes lately mate :)
Those rotties scare the Christ out of me I was traveling out west once and got low on fuel so pulled up at a 24hr servo
the servo was actually shut but you could ring the bell and someone would switch the pumps on for you to get fuel
So it was well marked where the bell was and you had to walk down the side of the building and through a gate so I done it all rang the bell a bloke got up off a couch give me the ok sign so I turned to get fuel and there it was this feken big rottie showing more ivory than a full grown walrus
then the door flew open and the bloke says bugga me I for got I hadn't tied the dog up I nearly fainted then he laughed and told the dog to piss off
he later told me the old dog was that lazy he wouldn't even chew his food properly let alone bite but he puts on a good front :)
So then I said to the bloke mate when I turned and saw that dog even if he is lazy if he had given me his food I would have chewed it for him

My understanding is that you need a 2-syllable name, so it's easy to yell it when calling a dog.
[For a cat; call it anything you like. It's not like it's going to come to your bidding anyway...]

What about the Norse goddess: Freyja:- goddess associated with love, beauty, fertility, gold, seiðr, war, and death.
